Went to Stitchin' Chicks at Annie's today. I love those girls. It is always fun to see what they are making. Lunch (as always) was wonderful. I look forward to this every month.

The rain has stopped for this afternoon. The sun is trying to show through. Cross your fingers.

This blogging thing is just not going well for me.
I just did a whole page of stuff and lost it. So here we go again.

I think Winter is never going to end. It's raining again today. 20 degrees lower than normal. It's supposed to rain everyday for the next week.

I have been cold since last September. I need sunshine...

On the TV this morning I heard a quote by Robert Louis Stevenson, "The wold is all full of a number of things. I think we should all be a s happy as kings."

But, It's difficult to remember to be happy when you're cold and wet.
My darling husband keep saying that we'll all complain when Summer comes. I haven't complained about the heat for the past 3 years. I've been cold for 9 months of the year so when I get warm I enjoy it. I actually look forward to Hot Flashes.

I guess I'll get back to my crocheting. That is where I am really happy.

OMG!!! MORE SNOW

Who is in charge of this stuff??? It's the end of April and it's snowing in the valley. OK! It would be alright in the mountains, but down here.

What happened to Global Warming? If the polar ice cape is melting and the polar bears are dying off, how about moving them to Utah. We're freezing here.

Well, At least it's not an earthquake. And I have central heating, so I'm warm in the house.

Here are some things I've been making.

This is my little baby outfit. I made the socks first and then I had to dress her so that she isn't just sitting around naked.

The vest looks better when I wear it. It's hanging on the back of a chair. I had a bunch of fun making this. It's a stitch I never made before and it was great and easy to do.

I'm working on some hats to send to Pakistan with a friend.

I'm doing a Barbie Doll gown to send off to a friend.

If Spring would just stay around and the sun would shine, life would be perfect.

We got more snow today. Salt Lake City, Utah got snow all day today. Looks like the whole state got it again. I want Spring. But like my Daddy used to say, "It doesn't hurt you to want." At least I'm not in Japan. I still have my warm home to sit in and look out at the snow. I still have running, clean water and hot water whenever I want it. I even have this "fine" computer and my lovely television. And my family is well and happy. Guess I'll just smile and say thanks for what I have and stop complaining about the cold weather. I'll just pick up my crochteing and make something pretty. Happy weekend.

I made it for my younger sister. I hope it fits her. I plan to take it to her when I go to visit this summer. (If summer ever gets here.)

I keep telling myself that this snow crap is not nearly as bad as the earthquake that hit Japan a few weeks ago. But I have to deal with the snow. So I still gripe about it. I am sooooo ready for Spring.

I separated my day lilies last year and they all came up this year. I picked some more lilies from Home Depot a few weeks ago. I planted most of them. They are doing well for now. I want to see them bloom.

The tulips I planted 12 years ago all came up, and there are more of them this year. They always surprise me when they appear. I forget they are under all that soil the rest of the year. They'll be blooming in about 2 weeks.

We went to Lexi's third birthday party and had a very good time. I really enjoy watching the little girls play. They are both so smart and beautiful. Hey! I'm Granma D, I can brag on them if I want. They look alot like their mothers. (Who are also beautiful.) {had to take two to get a good one}

It's had to believe they are both 3 now. They are growing so fast.

OMG! SNOW!

I had planned to do some running around today. And...woke up to snow. CRAP! I thought Spring was here. Welcome to Springtime in the Rockies. I don't know why this caught me off guard. This happens every year. But I am so tired of Winter. They're calling they Sprinter. Cute. No matter what they want to call it...I don't much care for it.

Aside from the weather (which sucks), Life is good. I have everything I ever wished for. And some of the things I didn't know I wanted.

Hey! a little snow never stopped me before. Off to deliver stuff to get it out-a the house.

I've been monkeying around the past week.

I made some cherries.The Stitchen Chicks suggested that I make some after they saw the one I put on the top of my "Cherry Pie."

I am still working on the new sweater. I'm just past half way. I'll finish it this weekend. So Monday I'll post the finished photo.
