Virus?

I think something has invaded my computer.
It's a good thing that "it" has not bothered my crocheting. Wait...maybe it came from on of my UFO's. or WIP's. Maybe I should work on them. Strange things come from those.
I'll work on more this weekend.

Have a great weekend.

Look!

My darling husband took the pictures. The pattern is from Quick & Easy Crochet, January/February 1988. (It's amazing what I find in my basement.)

I did it. I only had to take it apart to correct my mistaked 4 times.

I loved this yarn when I saw it at JoAnn's on Monday. Now it's Friday and I have a new sweater. I love the way it striped as I crocheted.

Now I have to get a new project. OH! I have two other things started, but I want to do something special. I better finish the baby afghan I started two weeks ago, or the hat I started last week. Maybe not.

The weather has gone to crap again. Cold and windy. Another storm on the way.

And so it begins....

Each project starts with the pattern.

Then the color is chosen. I picked up this lovely varigated purples from JoAnn's.
OH! CRAP!! I did it wrong. I had done almost half of it. A whole day wasted... Well, no. I learned something.
Frogging is such great fun. Now my new sweater looks like a bag of messed up yarn.
I just hope I did it so that there will be no knots to undo as I redo this.
OK! I have started over. I think I'm doing it correctly this time.

It's going to take longer that I had hoped. I'll post the finished product when it's complete.
I hope I can wear it on Saturday at lunch with my girlfriends.

Thursday...Already

Sooooo... I finally made it back to this blog thing.

I really haven't felt like much of anything this Winter. It has been just too cold and gloomy for my pea-brain to function. I keep crocheting, because that is my reason for getting out of bed in the mornings.

I went down to the Stitching Chicks get-together today. Annie is so wonderful to put the whole thing together for us. She made lunch and we did our show-and-tell of what we have been doing. I love this group of ladies. They are quilters. I am the crocheter of the bunch.

Next month we're going to crochet dish clothes. It's going to be great fun.

I feel alot better after going to meet with these girls.

Get up...Dress up...and Show up.
That is the way to fight off depression. I can testify to that the fact that it works.

It also helps the the sun was out today.

I am so tired of Winter. But thankful that I live in Utah. We haven't had nearly the snow or the cold that the East Coast has had this year. There are blessings to living in a dessert.
