I need help. How can I fix the hole in this lovely tablecloth?
I found this lovely tablecloth when I was looking around in my basement. There are all kinds of wonderful things down there.
Anyway, I would like to fix this hole so that the whole tablecloth will be beautiful.

I have no idea how to fix it. My guess is that it is about 15 years old from an Irish Lace pattern in Crochet! Magazine. It is probably made from a shiny white thread from Super YarnMart(Which is now out of business)and I'm not sure of the fiber content. I know it was shiny. I can't recall how much of it was done, but I know it wasn't finished! The motifs are finish-as-you-go and then add a small motif in the open area. It was going to be for someone I worked with, but it got set down and forgot to get back up. I thought it was in a closte in California. Thanks for the trip down memory-lame!
