There is Hope.

These are the bags:

The pattern is available at www.redheart.com  It's called Crochet Save the Earth Bag. They're made of  Lily Sugar 'n Cream cotton #4.
The first one was white and made of Bernat cotton yarn.  I gave it to a friend for her birthday before I took a picture  of it.

Here are some of the things I made for Pam's door.

When I gave her the first little witch, she asked for a second one.  She asked for a red-headed one.
So here she is.  I made 2 brooms, because I forgot the first one.

I'm having so much fun making "silly" things.

And...I finally figured out how to upload my pictures.
At least until "they" update Windows 8 again.

Never give up hope...
If I can learn technology at my age...anyone can.

Almost July

It has been a while since I posted anything.  A lot has happened in that time.

My brother Jerry passed on a few weeks back.  We went out to Gusher, Utah for the funeral.  We saw his 4 kids and dozens of grand and great grand kids.

It was a beautiful day and a lovey ride.  I wish it had been for a different reason.

I have crocheted a bunch of things.  I have made some "door decorations"  for a very good friend.  She puts them on the door of her office each month.

I have made 3 "Green" Market bags.  Using the Red Heart pattern #WR1795.  It is available at www.redheart.com.   I really like the pattern and will make more soon.

I'm still trying to figure out how to move my pictures to this blog.  I'd post a picture if I can figure it out.

I'm still working on a sweater for me, an afghan just for fun, and dish cloths. (always)

I'm still make Barbie gowns for the exchange group I join 3 years ago.  It is so fun.

My wonderful husband is making noises about moving to Las Vegas, NV again.  He said that he is going to retire in March of 2014.  We'll see when he does it.

But...I'm going to have to de-junk my house, before we move.  Scary thought.

My daughter, Chris and her little family are moving to Austin, TX next month.  I'm going to miss them so much.
Tahnee got a really good job.  Almost tripled her pay.  Chris is going to work at the same place at more than she was getting here, also.

Chris promised to call me often.  But we all know that it will get less often as time goes on.

My garden is wonderful this year.  We have volunteer tomatoes that just came up like grass.  I'll bet there are 40 of them.  We're letting most of them grow just to see what happens.

We also got volunteer cantaloupe.  There are about 20 of them, but we don't expect much from them.  Our growing season is kind of short for them.  We'll see what happens with them.

We went to Jamaica in April.  It was great fun.  We laid on the beach and watched the people and birds doing their things.
Hey!!!!! I added a picture.  There may be hope for me yet.

Always smile.
It make the people around you wonder
what you're up to.
